Classroom Principles
1. Everyone's contribution is necessary and important.
2. Respect yourself, others and the classroom materials.
3. Be inclusive, help others when you can.
Rule
1. We will do math for 50 minutes a day. Any behavior that prevents that from happening is not allowed. This includes tardies, inappropriate use of phones or devices, and general tom-foolery.
Consequences
If a student chooses to break a rule, the following consequences will be imposed:
First time a student breaks a rule: Warning and Redirection
Second time: Teacher-Student conference and possible behavior plan
Third time: Call parents/Lunch Detention
Fourth time: Teacher-Parent conference
Fifth time: Teacher-Parent-Administrative conference
Severe misbehavior, such as fighting, verbal abuse, etc., will result in the immediate imposition of the severe clause: Send to administrator.
Cheating Policy
In order to promote academic integrity, the penalty for academic dishonesty (cheating) is a zero on that test or assignment and a drop in the citizenship grade of students involved.
